Netshoes is Brazil’s largest online retailer of sporting goods. At number 6 on the Internet Retail Latin America Top 300, Netshoes has over 7.5 million unique monthly visitors.

Founded in 2000 as a shoe store in the center of São Paulo, the company evolved to dedicate itself exclusively to ecommerce. Netshoes invested heavily in marketing (including the sponsorship of soccer clubs and other sports teams) as well as infrastructure. As a result, Netshoes earnings have grown 40 times over in the last five years, reaching 1.15 billion reals in 2012.
