Over 3.2 million unique monthly visitors use The Knot to hunt for planning advice, interactive tools, supplies, favors, and attendant gifts. As a "long tail" eCommerce site as well as a publisher of content, The Knot turned to Baynote for two complementary goals: increase page views to support its advertising revenue stream; and improve its shopping experience and cross-selling of products.

With Baynote Product Recommendations, visitors are immediately shown both relevant articles and products in the online store—a dynamically optimized landing page which creates a holistic experience. For example, a bride might find answers to etiquette questions around favors and at the same time she can buy the ones that meet her unique needs. Plus, she'll be able to leverage the wisdom of the community of brides-to-be who have similar questions or tastes.
