Dan Beldy

Managing Director, Steamboat (Disney) Ventures

Mr. Beldy has spent the last 20 years in technology and finance as an entrepreneur and investor. Prior to Steamboat, Dan was a co-founder of Technorati, the world's leading blog search service. He was also a co-founder of Plainview Capital, an innovative investment fund that leverages proprietary cash flow analytics. Earlier, Dan was a partner at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. Dan was an officer and an F/A-18 jet instructor for the U.S. Navy. He received a BSCS with honors from the US Naval Academy, and an MBA in finance from The Wharton School.

John Hummer

Mr. Hummer is a Managing Member of Hummer Winblad Venture Partners V. John has been a venture capitalist for over 20 years. After graduating from Princeton University, he was a first round draft pick in the NBA and played six years for the Buffalo Braves and Seattle Supersonics. After retiring from professional basketball, Mr. Hummer completed an MBA from Stanford University and began his VC career. John's prior investments include Octel, Wind River Systems, Powersoft, Extensity, and Global Center. He currently sits on the boards of Employease, Starmine, Baynote, and Success Metrics.

Jack Jia

Chairman & CEO, Baynote

Mr. Jia is a founder and CEO of Baynote, Inc. For eight years, he was SVP & CTO of Interwoven Inc. with executive responsibilities in engineering, products, marketing, strategy and vision. Prior to Interwoven, he was a founder and CEO of V-max America. Mr. Jia led operating systems and applications development at SGI, Sun Microsystems, Stratus and NASA for over a decade. He is a frequent speaker at major conferences and has appeared on television programs in several countries. He is a contributing author in "XML Handbook, the 4th Edition", "Online! The Book", "Content Management Bible", and writes regularly about key technology issues and trends. He is a board advisor for Santa Clara University, and the president of HYSTA, a premier non-profit organization for promoting entrepreneurship.

Tasha Seitz

General Partner, JK&B Capital

Ms. Seitz joined JK&B Capital in 1997 and has focused on the software sector, working with companies such as Interwoven, Andromedia and Synchrologic. Prior to joining JK&B, Ms. Seitz was an IT industry analyst at Gartner Group advising Fortune 500 and Global 1000 clients. She worked in the areas of Local Area Communications and Applications Development & Management before founding Gartner's Multimedia service in 1993. While at Gartner, Ms. Seitz advised on electronic publishing and led efforts to deliver research to Gartner's clients in multimedia.

Maynard Webb

CEO, Liveops and Former Chief Operating Officer, eBay

Mr. Webb brings almost 30 years of experience developing and leading high-growth companies to his role as CEO at LiveOps. As eBay's COO, he was instrumental for the incredible success of the company and responsible for engineering and technology operations, as well as for the company's product development, customer support, trust and safety initiatives, global billing, and human resources. Before joining eBay, Mr. Webb was Senior Vice President and CIO at Gateway, Inc. He has also worked as CIO at Bay Networks and in technology operations at Quantum, Thomas Conrad, Figgie International, and IBM. A respected member of the Silicon Valley technology community, Maynard sits on the boards of several successful companies, including Salesforce.com, Gartner Research and Baynote.
