We are looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented team member to sell our Real-time Smart Data Platform – BaynoteOne, into the retail and travel industries. You’ll be a critical addition to our entrepreneurial team and will be responsible for the sales process from prospecting, initial discovery meetings to closing deals.

The combination of big data, machine learning and real-time technology has created an exciting new category of smart data solutions. Traditionally, big data technology has been used to improve analytics. Smart data technology makes big data actionable and drives real results and revenue in real-time for commerce companies by increasing engagement, conversion and loyalty.

The ideal candidate will have experience selling into the retail and travel industries and be located in Silicon Valley.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Prospecting at the executive level in target accounts
  • Working leads generated by the inside sales team to create projects
  • Understanding key pain points and communicating product value at multiple levels and across multiple groups within the target organization to develop larger, more strategic opportunities
  • Consultative selling that educates prospects whose mindset is based on antiquated marketing, merchandising and technology paradigms
  • Providing excellent customer service that develops accounts from initial project or proof of concept through to multiple projects and extended customer relationships
  • Managing your time effectively to achieve sales goals and metrics across prospecting, account development and closing deals
