Responsibilities:

  • Initiates sales process, manage and drive pipeline – prospecting, lead qualification, solution presentation, understanding business needs, developing proposals, accurate pipeline forecasting and closing.
  • Achieve/exceed quarterly and annual targets by sustaining the necessary pipeline, effectively managing the sales process and delivering on commitments.
  • Work in partnership with Sales Director on high visibility, strategic named accounts.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engagement Management team to drive revenue goals and manage initial implementation process.

 

The Ideal Rock Star Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience selling SaaS or software solutions to e-commerce Leaders and Digital Marketers.
  • An understanding of Web Analytics, Content Management, Search Engine and Customer Support Applications in a direct sales capacity is preferred.
  • Strong self-starter with the desire and flexibility to operate in a fast-paced technology startup (prior successful experience in start-ups preferred); open to creative business ideas and willing to explore new markets.
  • Demonstrated success at territory management, finding and closing new business over the phone or in person.
  • Strategic approach to prospecting potential clients, be innovative and resourceful in evolving sales methods to drive net new business.
  • Proficient in Sales collaboration tools such as Salesforce, PowerPoint, and Web Conferencing.
  • Though this role is primarily based in San Jose headquarters, a willingness to travel as needed is important, approx. 25% – 30%. Territory is Eastern US.
  • BS/BA degree required or equivalent.
