Tell us a little about your education and professional background.
I was born in India and did my undergraduate in Electrical Eng. from IIT. I came to United States for higher education, and it still feels like I am in school. I have M.S. in Computer Science and MBA from MIT. My background is in software development, product management , algorithms, data mining & analytics. Prior to Baynote, I have worked at Xilinx, Bell-Labs and Siminsights.
When you were a kid, what profession did you think you would pursue?
Astronomer. As a kid I enjoyed star grazing and see the moon move around. We had really clear skies and long summer months.
What is your motto or personal mantra?
Whatever has to be invented will be invented, the question is: you do it or someone else does it.
What attracted you to Baynote?
I am interested in data and how to draw useful insights from it and hence create value in the ecosystem. I see a huge potential how we can take the recommendation engine to the next level. Lastly, the team is really great and that sold to me.
So far, what are your favorite things about Baynote?
Folks here are really motivated; my on-boarding could not have been any better. The environment is very entrepreneurial. The technology platform and algorithms have a great potential to enable high value solutions to our customers. .

Do you play an instrument or have a favorite sport?
I have played cricket at different levels. These days I generally follow it or sometimes watch it.
